Significant Quote from Act 5
" A glooming peace this morning with it brings,
The sun for sorrow will not show his head.
Go hence to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo."
(V.iii.305-310)
I selected this quote to represent the fifth act, because it perfectly sums up the entire act and even the play. It gives a condensed version of the actions in the fifth act and a nice line to conclude the entire play. The first line describes the tragedies that happened in this act and how they brought a gloomy peace between the houses. This description of the sad acts and the results continue until line 308. Which is perfect because those actions were the main focus and major event that took place in this act. The last two lines conclude the entire play perfectly, because it explains the entire tragedy simply.
